Sometimes blessings come in a disguise. For Julie Jenkins, losing her job in customer service gave her the incentive to open her own business. White Teeth Express. For less than $150, you can spend about 20 minutes getting your teeth two to eight times whiter. Jenkins said her son had the whitening done and told her about it. "I was skeptical, but I researched it well and it led me to open my own business," she said. "Being laid off was a positive for me. It got me thinking out of the box, doing something I might not have thought of." Her customer service skills work well as she meets customers and explains the process. Basically, customers put in a mouthpiece with whitening gel. Jenkins then uses a blue LED light calibrated to activate the gel. The process is approved by the FDA and proven safe for tooth enamel, gums and soft tissues. "And it is made in the USA," she said. "There is no pain, no heat." Jenkins said her business is independent. "I didn't want to be part of a franchise where they tell you what you can or can't do or products you can or can't offer." |
